Who is Zarko Zivkovic, behind SEO & Internet

I know most of you don’t want to know a thing about me and couldn’t care less, but for those of you who do I want to officially introduce myself to HubPages community after more than half a year of writing here. I will try to tell you who I am behind all the SEO and all the internet marketing I do and of course all the writing. So I wouldn’t go into the business part I will just say it shortly here at the beginning. I started my online career after I quit my job at the state national lottery where I worked as a PR, quite a background for going into SEO and marketing, so I managed to fit in very quickly. Before that I studied IT and English literature. Don’t ask, I was wild back in the day with too many interests. I am like that even now, but I know which ones to follow and which to avoid, I am a bit wiser and more experienced than I was 5 or 10 years ago. So that is about my work and education, now for the real me.

There are so many things I like to do, no strike that, love to do. But I have two great passions besides my work and my girlfriend. My first passion revolves around animals. I am a great animal lover and in return I didn’t meet an animal that didn’t like me, frogs and snakes included. I have a small zoo at home; I have two dogs, three cats and two tiger parrots. I have a German Shepherd who is almost 5 years old, he is a real beauty, but we had a hard ear infection that we simply couldn’t fight off and now he is deaf. Which is a great tragedy since he was a real champ, he still is, but he only replies on the things he sees, so no command can be given to him when he is not looking at you. The other dog is a new addition to the family; it’s a Balkan Hound that we found in February. The dog had both of his front legs deformed due to bad heritage and lack of care. So we treated him for two months, he now walks normally, he only has a slight permanent deformity on his right ankle, but that doesn’t bother him. We keep him in the house, which is troublesome as I have three cats as I mentioned earlier, two black domestic cats and one Russian blue. But he is good at keeping them away from parrots and at keeping me awake at night.

My second passion is music. I finished musical school at the age of 14, a played saxophone and clarinet. That gave me a great background in jazz and beat music, which I later used in my guitar playing days. Yup, I’m a real rocker, although the last time I played my guitar was around New Years Eve. But aside from playing a few instruments and being in a couple of bands I love music, and I love every band that is unique and has quality, no matter the genre. I can go from Rush and The Who to Pantera then back to Deep Purple and jump right on Tool and Puscifer. My favorite band I actually Tool, which makes Maynard James Keenan my favorite singer. You can catch me sometimes listening to Eurhythmics and Enya, but that is not abnormal, it will be abnormal if you ever catch me listening to Britney Spears or some similar singer or band, God forbid I ever listen to a boy’s band!

The third thing that keeps me occupied when I’m not working, dealing with my dogs or chilling with some cool music is experimentation. Yes, I am a Dexter, the boy genius when it comes to these things, all I need is an idea and I will be over it like white on rice. I went from painting and creating canvases and my own organic paint to creating my own sofas from pillows I created from old clothes and stuffing to creating irrigation for my future greenhouse and I also did origami. And these are just a few things that I tend to do in my spare time, I better not tell you what my ideas lead me to do online!

In other words I like to keep things interested and I’m not the guy you will find laying on the couch doing nothing, I can’t live with myself if I’m not on the move. Which is one of the reasons why I keep writing Hubs even though my work schedule is overloaded, I am addicted to HubPages dammit… I also love nature and go on mountain climbing trips whenever I get the chance, I prefer forests and mountains over sea and oceans, but I also love them. It’s just that I can easily pack a bag and go to a nearby mountain which Serbia is full of, and I will need to get my Passport ready and stand in line for Visa to go surfing or diving!

I think that is about it, I have my own firm, most of the days I work from home, which has its bad sides and good sides. I’m a Virgo, born September 17, 1983, which means my birthday is in just two weeks, don’t forget to drop by and say happy birthday. The rest of my overly packed schedule I tend to devote to my girlfriend who moved in with me a few months back and that’s it. At this pace I will turn into a machine by the time I reach 30, either that or I will happily retire with a few extra zeros in my bank account and live a happy life driving my girlfriend crazy with my ideas and too much energy that will pile up inside me because I’m not working. Ah, it’s so good to be me!
