The Magnificent, The Amazing, The Incredible, Canon EOS 7D Digital Camera

A new member of Canon EOS digital world is up for grabs. We are talking about the magnificent, amazing, incredible, brand new Canon EOS 7D digital camera. This baby has it all, although we all thought that this will be a replacement for Canon EOS 50D we were wrong. This camera is a brand new entity that brought many improvements and a bunch of new things to the table. Can anyone say 19 megapixel, 19 point AF or full HD?

It’s simply hard to describe this camera as nothing less than spectacular, really. Just by going over it features and details you will see that for the same price as other digital cameras from EOS range you will get a top notch state of the art brand new technology digital camera that throws its magnificent shadow on everything around it.

The question is where to start, although there are plenty of improvements I’m sure every photographer would like to know what are the new things that Canon EOS 7D brought us. The first thing you will notice is the 18 Megapixel C MOS sensor. The EOS 7D sports a new 18 MP APS-C CMOS sensor. New sensor has a new photodiode and microlens design that allows an improved signal to noise ratio. After that we have the new highly customizable new 19 point AF system. Very easy to use viewfinder with a 100 percent coverage and 1.0x magnification viewfinder specification, unlike its predecessor or any other digital camera in that range that had from 95% to 97%. There is also a 3 inch Clear View II LCD with 920K pixel screen and without the air-gap between the protective cover of the LCD and the liquid crystal to reduce glare. This screen has a viewing angle of 160 degrees, which even a professional will find pretty amazing. There is also a new metering system, custom controls button, dual axis electronics level and a new flash and a wireless flash control. Canon EOS 7D digital camera is the first one to have the Integrated Speedlite Transmitter. Well this camera will be nothing with all this if it wasn’t for the new Dual DIGIC 4 processor. It provides the processing power that is needed for eight frames per second continuous shooting at all file types and image qualities.
Of course there are a few new things related to the DSLR movie mode, we finally have full HD on a digital camera of this range and Canon EOS 7D allows full manual control over shutter speed and aperture.

Those were just the new things that Canon EOS 7D brought us, and there are plenty of improvements of already well known features of the EOS line. One of the best things about the EOS 7D is the price. As we heard what this digital camera will have we imagined the price, but as it turns out the price is in the range of all other EOS line digital cameras, even though it’s much better than the rest of the Canon family.
