I Hate HubPages – They Make Me Give My Best

How many times have you heard someone say I hate HubPages, sounds harsh right? It’s not that I actually hate HubPages, it’s quite the contrary actually, but there is one thing about HubPages that drives me crazy, and I don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing, I guess it’s both. There is something special about HubPages that makes me try harder, that makes me do my best, I’ll try to explain, although it’s not quite easy. I hate HubPages is not the right term, but sometimes I feel like it, maybe you will understand a bit better if you read on, maybe I will understand a bit better if I write this all the way through and of course, maybe you can help me understand by leaving a comment..

I have a few blogs, I have an SEO firm, which means I do a lot of writing in my free time or when I’m working. I always try to provide something unique, something new, something educational and useful, if anything, at least I try to give a different angle on things. So far I think I manage to do that, well, my online success shows that I got a few things right here and there. But then comes the moment when I have to write something for HubPages and that is when I get obsessed.

You see the thing is that internet is a competitive market, whatever I write on my blogs there is a chance that someone already wrote it, or said it better, not to mention that most of the things I write can be found in some form or another on thousands of other websites and blogs. So there is always competition and I feel the heat and try to come out as a winner, but with HubPages that is totally different for me, they simply make me give my best and nothing but the best. Well, at least that is how I feel.

You see, although there is a great competition on the internet I don’t feel like they are here, on the other hand HubPages writers are here, some of them are my friends, some are followers, and all of them are good writers. The fact that everything I write is already written here gives me a headache. Well, I don’t think someone else wrote Good Toilet Reading Material. But the competition here is great and I simply can’t make myself publish a Hub that I wrote out of my head, I have to analyze it, read it over and over again. I know that is good, but I don’t feel that amount of pressure when I write for Ezine or any other website, nor do I feel that pressure when writing for my own blogs.

So I hate HubPages because of that. Again, it’s not that I actually hate HubPages, it’s just that I find that writing here is on a whole new level, at least that is how I feel. Personally, I never had that feeling with any other social website or article directory, and I guess that is a good thing, I found one place that makes me give my best and that makes me want to give my best. So, kudos to HubPages and all of the high quality content writers I had the pleasure to meet here and read their Hubs. I’ll say it loud and clear, as much as I hate HubPages sometimes, I love HubPages 10 times more. Keep the quality going.
