I Are Google!
We all know the story behind Google;well at least the ones who try to live of it know. The basic idea is we can’t do anything without Google’s approval or their knowledge. Mess with Google and your earnings will be close to zero. So we have to bow down and worship almighty Google every chance we get. We all accept that as a fact and move on. But have you ever thought why? Are they just so damn rich and want more that there is no end to their greed or are there some other motives for Google’s supremacy over us?
Google Illuminati?
Well there is no telling and there are no proofs of anything except their greed, but there is one hint that they are not just going for the money. The fact that they want to be everywhere and know everything makes me scared. If you just think about it for a second they could be something like NSA, CIA, FBI or maybe all those put together. Are you aware that they have more info on every person on this planet more than those three plus MOSAD, MI5 and ex KGB put together! Every single one of us that has ever left some info on the net actually gave that info to Google. So they have your name, address, social security number, what color panties your grandma used to wear! Google is shameless and they are not acting like internet police, they are the police, they are our Skynet, and they might just as well be our doom. Illuminati have ruled the world from the shadows for centuries, when I see Google on the top of the food chain I can’t help myself but to think they are some secret organization with ulterior motives.
The Cybersheep
If you just watch how they expanded from a search engine into everything they could get their hands on it sounds more like world domination is their goal. Just think about it, they took blogs, they put ads in every bit of net. Which are just little spies! They offer their websites, their translator, but those are just internet related. Did you know that they have a chain of fashion stores? They have bought everything they could get their hands on. Google even went that far and started making smart phones. You all heard about Google Nexus One, they are going over Microsoft and Apple, and they are even lowering their heads for Google to pass by. The next thing they are going to build will be Cybersheep. Yeah, they will. Just imagine what they can do, there will be no more need for human workers. They will invent ultra smart modified Cybersheep that will scan the net and they we be the damnation of us all. The last thing we will hear just before we die will be Goooogllleeeee.

Google will expand and they will take over the universe. 50 years from now those that are still alive will be plugged into matrix serving as food for Google Illuminati’s Cybersheep program. Well like you I also depend on pleasing Google, but I always wondered how far they will go. Is everything enough? I mean we all depend on Google, they dictate what we can or should do. Every internet business depends on them. So it's just normal to fear when all of us depend only on one company!
I'm sure with all the new commotion about wrongly interpreting the sign of the beast that some scientist in the future will say that it's name is Google :)

Indeed Google does have much power and control over practically all businesses online. Lets hope they stick to their mantra of "Do No Evil". If not someone will take their place eventually.
When they released Google Buzz recently it had serious privacy implications, but after a public outcry they did fix them all rather promptly. At least they do listen and respond sometimes.
Ok Google I have properly sucked up in case your listening. I expect a high EPC rate for a long time now.

I just had a thought, I was doing some more research last night, and analysts say that Google will become the richest company in the world in two years. 2012, ring any bells.
I just wonder how many business would bankrupt and went to ruin if Google was to lose all of its data? What kind of chaos would that be? Food for thought!
Wow, I came back to this hub again, 4 months later and it's still alive and has a good score. It just goes to show that when we decide to write something for our selves, out of fun, we fare better than when we write for others or with some other goal than simply to write :)

Google will be Google, as long as they are number one people would like to dig dirt and complain about them.
Personally, not that I don't care, but writing my piece of mind, which I did in three hubs, and really trying to do something about it are two different things. I wouldn't want anyone to confuse that :)

Yeah, i think I'm going to hire Mel Gibson to star in my movie about Google Conspiracy, it will be called "Google, Illuminati and the Cybersheep, the Conspiracy Theory 2", but I will change the role of Julia Roberts for let's say Julianne Moore or maybe Anne Heche. And I think Kevin Spacey would be perfect to play Larry Page, he is great for a villain. I know, if Kevin turns me down I'll get Christopher Walken :)
We choose to depend on materialistic things. It's our own fault that we're letting small things like internet websites, search engines, Celebrities, fashion, food, etc. take over.
You are right, we allowed it to happen, but it's the market that dictates the needs at the moment, Google was our creation as much as it was Larry Page's. He thought of it, we embraced it and let it have too much power, now they are dictating what we should and shouldn't do, as well as grabbing info like CIA spies during the cold war.
Their logic is in fact the same as CIA's, we do this for your own good! While I agree that there needs to be rules or the internet would be chaos, total anarchy, but there should be a public company that supervises internet and makes the rules, not a private company! This is pure monopoly!!!

I don't think Google is any more evil than any other company out to make a profit but the profit motive does lead to sometimes making decisions that may not be in the best interests of consumers.
I do worry about the power of Big G and what they might do with all this data one day but they are not alone. Our data is stored by so many companies and government departments that nothing we do goes un-noticed.
Agreed on all accounts, but it is a fact that Google has more intelligence on us than any other agency in the world, so that makes them the greatest threat.
If you look at it from the reality perspective, Google is the most powerful company in the work at the moment, which always leads to someone saying bad things or thinking up conspiracies against them. It doesn't really matter if Google is evil or not, what matters is that they have bunch of sensitive info on billions of people and if they make one mistake, their computers break down, someone hacks in their system, all of that date can be compromised. And I'm sure most of us wouldn't want our private data to be available for everyone!

while that is a possibility. I don't think your evidence of them expanding is solid. because if you go into the same field as Google .. you will start to understand that the internet has so much flaw still that it can become so much better. and the deeper you look .. you start to realize that the entire world's technology needs improvement. one idea leads to another ... it really is the nature of this business (technology - especially internet technology since it's so fresh with so much room for improvement).
I have worked on an internet software for 3 years and during brainstorming .. you just keep coming up with better ideas. and you keep thinking of how expanding the ideas on other things will improve them so much.
and that is just me .. a regular guy with ONE internet software project. imagine Google .. a multi-billion dollar company with so many staff, so much resource. of course they will have countless ideas and the desire to expand. it's our human nature to explore and expand. there's no way a company with so much resource just stays there and does one thing forever. humans expand and it's just what we do.
so I think it is important for you to try to understand their perspective. that way you can understand why they're doing what they do.
anyways, I also said your idea is a possibility because if one is to believe Illuminati exists. then for certain they will not let Google roam free in our world. they either started Google or have taken over Google already.
Do No Evil = O No, Devil
Maybe google is not the antichrist, yet, but it is certainly trying some sort of world domination. And that is not a healthy thing for anyone. The way companies function these days is beyond the understanding of a regular Joe - they are actually patenting medical cures genes etc, and are becoming so vast that they have more power than most countires combined - and all the allegations towards a company that soon will be the richest on the planet should be taken seriously. And as they are spreading on every possible market we should monitor them and what they are doing instead!!
People. I ask you to keep your eyes open and monitor the monitorer. As Bob Marley said: "You can fool some people some time, but you can't fool all the people all the time!"

@yic17, I agree with you, and as the hub is what it is I can understand that comment. And since there are plenty of comments here I know you probably haven't read my comments.
I don't claim anything in the Hub, I am merely stating a possibility and nothing else, some food for thought. I agree that it is healthy to expand, I don't know who said it but it was something like "either we evolve or we die", I agree, but nevertheless, as an SEO I am pretty seek and tired of Google monopoly. No one person or company should have the power to manipulate so many lives and other companies as Google has at the moment. And if you are for monopoly then we do have a difference of opinions.

I Opened up a nice little box today, containg a brand new Macbook Pro with some battery power left, found a Wlan and tried to make a hotmail adress for using with YouTube, and got the answer: "It seems that you allready have a Google Account. Would you like to combine the accounts? How the hell do they know all this? Why is Google taking care of 10 gigabytes of your files for free? Change now! Don't use anything with the name Google on it. Google is the ultimate spy tool. Leave Google while you have anything private left. (If you have any)
sometimes, it really amazes me why almost everything on the internet is all about google and making google happy.
Okay, while i do think that the fact that google can know everything about you is scary i think there just an example of smart business. The more you sell the more you earn, simple as that. Look how we talk about Google. It really is it's own entity. "Skynet" is a good comparison.
Still, I worry about pleasing Google. In fact, my job depends on pleasing Google.
Google really would make a great analogy for a Sunday sermon on the beast. Some of your hub may have been "tongue in cheek", but you can be sure you inspired some dialogue (off the net -- where Google can't hear... yet).
