Adsense Monetization, General or Niche Adsense Blog

By

I have seen plenty of Adsense monetization types, plenty of Adsense experiments, and I can tell you, there is no rule that will tell you which one to go for. Some things may work for me, but that doesn’t mean they will work for you. So again, before I explain a few things about Adsense monetization, do yourself a favor, whenever you hear someone guarantee anything related to online business be cautious and think of it as a possible scam. I say this in a Hub related to Adsense because there are plenty of parasites that will try to sell you an Adsense ready blog that will make you thousands. When you come to such people, there is only one thing you need to ask them. If that is true, how come you are not making thousands of those websites but selling them to others?

Back to the topic, Adsense monetization. You have several types of Adsense monetization types. You have single Adsense website type, you have the ever popular 5 page website Adsense type and you also have 100 small Adsense website types. To get to a number of 100 Adsense websites will take time and money, and it’s too much work for one person to handle alone in the beginning, so if you get to that number that is your thing. Like with everything else, I always suggest going for quality rather than for quantity. Before we talk about the types of Adsense monetization mentioned in the title I need to say that I will not talk about Adsense positioning and other Adsense techniques, I will save that for some other time.

So let’s talk about Adsense monetization about two types of sites I personally used, Adsense websites with general topics and niche Adsense websites. Each has its benefits, but like you probably guessed, niche Adsense websites tend to do better. This Adsense monetization type can be used to target a very specific and targeted niche that will insure that you have targeted ads. In order to get the maximum out of your monetization you need to have ads relevant to your content, especially if you are targeting a high paying keyword. I mean what is the benefit of having a car repair website if the ads are about mountain climbing.

Niche Adsense monetization type of website is great for beginners that want to start solid. Create a website around one specific keyword; of course use all possible relevant and LSI keywords to get the maximum. And build your website from 5 to 50 pages if you can. You have only one rule to follow, never stray off topic. You need to keep all your posts related, that way you will insure targeted ads and you will also ensure better ranking for your site in SERP for that keyword.

Niche Adsense monetization type is great for beginners, not just beginners; it’s great for anyone that wants to build an Adsense website or blog. The other type of Adsense monetization is Adsense site on general topics. Your website doesn’t actually have to be general topic website, this is a term used to describe websites that talk about various topics or take part in a rather larger niche, like internet marketing. Internet marketing has dozens of sub niches, so this is a good example.

I’ll tell you a little secret. I use a few general topic blogs to test keywords before I make my niche blog, they are great for experimenting and they can also make you a decent amount of money each month if you work on them. The idea behind this type of Adsense monetization is to make highly targeted posts so that your ads will be relevant. It is much harder to achieve that since the overall subject of the blog can be hard to determine, so in most cases some of the ads will not be so relevant. Your efforts on making targeted posts must be greater than when making a post on niche Adsense blog.

These are the two basic types of Adsense monetization types. But I will tell you that having only targeted content will not be enough to make money from Adsense. There are other things that come into account like Adsense positioning and of course SEO and promoting your blogs. If you are thinking of starting an Adsense blog or website these are the two Adsense monetization types you should start with, like I said, niche blogs will give you better chances to succeed while general blogs are great for trying out new things and new keywords and ideas.

Thanks for a good hub on adsense. I think I have a good idea for a niche blog/ actually TWO ideas. I hope they work, because I just retired, and I'd hate to spend all that time and effort for ten dollars a month!(cuz, I'd rather be just relaxing!)

Having a good idea is great, but there is a lot of research involved. First thing you need to find out how muhc that keyword pays. Maybe it's not as good as you think, anyway, I hope you make much, much more than $10 a month :)

I go for general websites, but I focus my pages tightly so I get the same result, but for beginners, I guess niche blogs are better.
